This hotel offers a quiet location within walking distance of all the restaurants and clubs in the area. The staff's genuine hospitality and impeccable service made my vacation peaceful. The rooms are beautiful and charming. The room cleaning service could be improved. The part I enjoyed most was undoubtedly the breakfast, a culinary delight that showcases the flavors of Mexico. Try the fantastic banana bread. These days we were also able to visit other hotels and enjoy their beaches, and we noticed how this resort keeps the beaches super clean of seaweed compared to other parts. A small, private and safe place right on the beach. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. Through the hotel we booked a trip to the caves and it was a fantastic experience. All the staff at the bar were great. The food is great with lots of fresh fruits. This place met our expectations.

What an experience! Arturo welcomed us at check in and made us feel right at home. The room was phenomenal and we felt lucky to experiment the "real Tulum". I loved that we got to know everyone by name, including our cleaner Lily who was lovely. Angelo and Jaime were so friendly and looked after us with superb food and drinks and we had great conversation. Thank you for an unforgettable experience, we will definitely be back.

We had an amazing time staying here. The hotel feels like a little paradise. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The service was top-notch. Our room was even better than we expected and looked even nicer than in the photos. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We also had an incident— we accidentally dropped our credit card near the car when returning late at night, and in the morning, the security guard returned it to us. I am truly grateful for that! I highly recommend this hotel, and we would love to come back again.

My husband and I just returned from Mexico and LUVed our 4 night stay here! We had an oceanfront bungalow and the room not only had incredible views of the ocean, we could hear the sound of the waves lulling us to sleep and woke up to it each morning! The room had great decor and was cleaned impeccably daily so no annoyance from sand and fresh dry towels. The beach is really the star, and if there was a trace of seaweed in the morning it was raked away before we arose. The water was perfectly warm, clean and sandy - much better than the beaches I've been to along the rest of the Riviera. The included breakfast was healthy and fresh with lots of variety. We always had a beach chair as well as chairs and shade on our deck. From initial point of contact throughout our stay, the staff especially Arturo, were pleasant and helpful so we could enjoy our stay. It's far enough from the party of the hotel zone so no need to worry about noise from there. I couldn't recommend LUV enough and would 100% return for another relaxing trip!

Absolutely amazing place, wonderful staff, heavenly beautiful pristine beach. The resort is very small, only few rooms which gives the place its unique chill vibe. It’s one of the few places that kept its original quiet atmosphere and was not destroyed with mass tourism. Special thanks to Arturo who helped with everything we needed and made our stay UNFORGETTABLE

Where to start....I have so much to say. Our long weekend at Luv Tulum was the most relaxing weekend we've had in years. This hotel is a sanctuary--quiet, intimate, and safe, a pristine beach, delicious food, fabulous staff. What more could you ask for?? If you're still not convinced, allow me to elaborate. For starters, the staff are all wonderful, hardworking people. Arturo was extremely helpful and communicative, and Angel (aka Angelo) provided such friendly and active service. Truly a delight to be taken care of by them and the rest of the lovely team at Luv Tulum, including Jesus, Fernando, Mary, Jaime, and the fabulous workers who maintain the property. This brings me to my favorite point, the property. Jaw dropping gorgeous. I'm obsessed with the fact that it's a very small hotel (about 16 rooms), so it's never too crowded. It's quiet and private and delicious. When you walk along the beach, you'll notice huge swaths of shore that are taken up by hundreds of visitors occupying trendy resorts, all with loud electronic music blasting. Not so at Luv--this hotel was so intentionally and mindfully designed so as to not exhaust and destroy the piece of land it sits on--to instead work with its natural surroundings. The palapa roofs, the wood used throughout, the beautiful lime concrete, the windows...the sound of the ocean and the waves....a dream. If I *had* to offer feedback to the hotel, my only suggestion would be to install screens into the glass doors/windows of the rooms. The breeze that makes its way in when they're open is beyond delightful, but you don't get to enjoy it from bed otherwise the mosquitos and other bugs will come in. They do have beautiful mosquito nets, but the wind sadly doesn't penetrate through the cotton. In the end, better to keep them closed and use the AC, but would be great if we could keep the doors open next time we come down :) Bugs were not a problem at all! Mary did a great job cleaning. I've seen some comment on the water pressure in the showers, and it's true that it's not very strong, but what do you expect? You're in the jungle...It took me a while to wash my hair (thick long curly) but it's a small price to pay to be in paradise, so I wasn't much bothered. This hotel is definitely a bit more rustic than the average resort, but that's why we like it--it's restorative for the soul to be one with your surroundings. Ultimately, it's such a relief to see that hotels can still be built mindfully and sustainably--proof that you don't need to raze land in order to make it habitable, like so many hotels and resorts. Staying at Luv was the perfect way to spend my birthday with my fiance, the staff were so nice, guests were kind and respectful--TAKE ME BACK!!! Muchas gracias por todo!! Also shoutout to Jose, best massage ever!!!

I almost don’t want to write this review on how amazing Luv is. From the moment you step into the reception desk on the sand, to the beautiful rooms, to the small bar and the private beach,to the continental complementary breakfast, sunrise, etc. I could go on and on. This hotel is perfect in every way, the location is ideal and we didn’t want to leave. We checked into an “all inclusive” resort and wished we stayed at Luv the entire time. Drinks are pricey but not any different than any other hotel on the beach strip. Very romantic hotel with the best ocean breeze. we went during a hot time and the ac worked perfectly in our room “Fuego.” The view from this room is unmatched. They add a 15% service charge to each bill at the bar/small restaurant but it’s definitely worth it and makes not carrying cash easier. Overall when we go back to tulum we will 100% stay here.

This hotel is a peaceful haven in Tulum. It offers very comfortable and typical Mayan-style accommodations right on the beach. The room we had was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. All the staff are lovely human beings, always happy to help with a smile. Special thanks to Arturo who took great care of us. This place truly is a gem!
